In fall 2015, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Claude Steele and Vice Chancellor Scott Biddy are convening three working groups made up of deans and other senior leaders, and senior fundraising staff from University Relations and campus units. The working groups will assist in the implementation planning for key areas of the campus’s approach going forward, based on the set of 10 guiding principles drafted by the Campus Fundraising Task Force in spring 2015. Bringing their units’ perspectives to bear, they will work together to create recommendations that will guide our implementation efforts.

1.    Coordination of large fundraising projects to ensure that all major fundraising projects are strategically aligned with campus priorities, have the planning and resources in place to achieve success, and are effectively tracked for progress.

2.    Expanding relationship management to ensure a high-quality donor experience.

3.    Developing an organizational model that ensures that we support the professional development and success of campus fundraisers and have top-tier, professional fundraising throughout the campus.
