Dear Faculty and Staff,
As follow-up to the announcement I made on April 26, I am pleased to tell you that Carol Christ has agreed to continue serving as interim Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost through June 30, 2017. This will not only allow her to complete the work she is spearheading around the campus budget and others matters, but will also give us time to conduct a careful search for a permanent replacement. I intend to launch the search for the new EVCP early in the Fall, and will share more about the process with the campus community at that time.
