Search Announcement: Vice Chancellor, Equity & Inclusion

February 18, 2021

Dear Campus Community,

I am writing to provide an update on the search for our next vice chancellor for equity and inclusion. As this is a critical role for our campus, we have contracted with the Storbeck Search & Koya Partners of the Diversified Search Group to assist us with this senior-level executive search. As a part of the process, the search firm will be hosting multiple listening sessions with key campus stakeholders. We also welcome input from the entire campus community through this online survey; the survey will be open for the duration of the search and responses are anonymous.

As Chancellor, I will serve as the chair of the search committee, which is made up of 14 faculty, staff, student, and alumni representatives from across the campus. This search process is following the standard process of all Senior Management Group searches and will need to be approved by the Regents once a finalist is selected.

Embracing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging is an important pillar of our strategic plan. This position will continue to play a critical role in moving these efforts forward and is a top priority for the campus. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this search process and for your continued support for this important role.

Please read the job announcement, including the timeline and search committee, on the EVCP website

Questions may be referred to Kristine Lee Wilby and Dana Jantz

Sincerely,
Carol Christ
Chancellor
