Search Update: Vice Chancellor, Equity & Inclusion

Dear Campus Community,

I am very grateful to those of you who have provided valuable input to the VCEI search so far -- either through a listening session, the online survey, or by writing to us directly. 

The search committee members met recently to discuss your feedback and finalize a formal position profile that outlines the role in detail. That document is available for your review at this link, and we ask you to share this broadly among your networks. The position is open until filled, and candidates are encouraged to apply by April 16, 2021 for best consideration. 

The nominations that we receive from the Berkeley community can often be the most helpful to our process of building a strong and diverse pool of well-qualified candidates.
