Shelby Hunt joins GSPP with 20+ years of experience in operations management, across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. He most recently served as a Foreign Service Officer with USAID in Cairo, Egypt, managing human resources, facilities, information technology, travel/transportation, procurement, events, communications/records, and security/crisis management. During his career with USAID, he served in South Africa, Ethiopia, Zambia, and India. Prior to USAID, Shelby worked at the Department of State’s Office of the Director of Foreign Assistance, where he was a Country Coordinator for Afghanistan. He has worked as a volunteer teacher at the Ho Chi Minh Political Academy in Hanoi, Vietnam, and as a Senior Product Manager at Oracle Corporation in Redwood Shores, California. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colby-Sawyer College.
