Search Announcement: Vice Chancellor for Equity and Inclusion - 2015

March 5, 2015

Search update

The search process has been launched. Stakeholder sessions were held for the many constituencies who work with and for the Division of Equity and Inclusion. Participants in these sessions provided useful feedback regarding the attributes, values, skills and experience needed in the next Vice Chancellor, as well as the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The search consultants, Spencer Stuart, are actively engaged in the recruitment phase of the search.  The search committee should have a sense of the applicant pool by the end of this March.

We are on schedule to complete the search by the end of the Spring semester as originally planned. We welcome comments and nominations, which can be sent to BerkeleyVCEI@spencerstuart.com.
